Volunteer with Support Brigade, NSW Rural Fire SericeSupport brigade is always on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers who are looking for an exciting way to make a contribution to their community. Volunteering with the NSW RFS offers you the opportunity to learn new and valuable skills that will not only assist you in your voluntary role but in day to day life and even your workplace. It is an opportunity to meet people you wouldn't normally meet. For many of our members, it's also about being part of a wonderful tradition and an organisation with a very proud history. A certain minimum standard of fitness is required (this is not onerous) and volunteers are expected to maintain a certain minimum attendance and level of training to ensure that they are capable of safely conducting their duties, but volunteering is always interesting and there are many others who are eager to help you. If you think volunteering in the Hornsby Ku-Ring-Gai Support Brigade through the Rural Fire Service is for you, please click on the link below and follow the instructions on the NSW RFS Volunteers Website!
